### sec.183 When appointment ends
The appointment of a person as an inspector ends if—
the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; or
under another condition of office, the office ends; or
the inspector resigns, by a notice signed by the inspector and given to the chief executive.
However, this section does not limit the ways the office of a person as an inspector ends.
In this section—
condition of office means a condition under which the inspector holds office.
(sec.183-ssec.1) The appointment of a person as an inspector ends if— the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; or under another condition of office, the office ends; or the inspector resigns, by a notice signed by the inspector and given to the chief executive.
(sec.183-ssec.2) However, this section does not limit the ways the office of a person as an inspector ends.
(sec.183-ssec.3) In this section— condition of office means a condition under which the inspector holds office.
- (a) the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; or
- (b) under another condition of office, the office ends; or
- (c) the inspector resigns, by a notice signed by the inspector and given to the chief executive.
