### sec.175 Proceedings brought in a representative capacity
A person may bring offence proceedings in a representative capacity, if the person has the consent of—
for proceedings brought on behalf of a body of persons or a corporation—the members of its controlling or governing body; or
for proceedings brought on behalf of an individual—the individual.
For proceedings by a local government, see the Local Government Act , section 237 or the City of Brisbane Act , section 218 .
The person on whose behalf the offence proceedings are brought may contribute to, or pay, the legal costs and expenses incurred by the person bringing the proceedings.
(sec.175-ssec.1) A person may bring offence proceedings in a representative capacity, if the person has the consent of— for proceedings brought on behalf of a body of persons or a corporation—the members of its controlling or governing body; or for proceedings brought on behalf of an individual—the individual.
