### sec.173 Enforcement authority may remedy contravention This section applies if an enforcement notice is contravened and the enforcement authority is not a local government. If the enforcement authority is a local government, see the Local Government Act , section 142 or the City of Brisbane Act , section 132 . The enforcement authority may— do anything reasonably necessary to ensure the notice is complied with; and recover any reasonable costs and expenses incurred in doing so as a debt owing by the recipient to the authority.
