### sec.106L Notice of decision
This section applies if the chief executive decides the application, or a part of the application, under section 106J .
Despite sections 63 (1) and 83 (1) , the decision notice for the decision must be given to each person who was required to be given the declaration notice for the application under section 106E (a) .
The following provisions do not apply in relation to the decision or the decision notice for the decision—
section 63 (2) (d) , (e) (ii) and (iii) , (f)(i) and (h), (4) and (5);
section 83 (2) , (8) and (9) .
The decision notice must state—
the matters the chief executive considered in making the decision; and
if the chief executive decided only part of the application—
the decision-maker must assess and decide, or reassess and re-decide, the other part; and
the point in the process for assessing the other part from which the assessment must restart; and
the day the process must restart.
If the decision is to approve the application or a part of the application, the decision notice may state a currency period for all or part of the development approval.
