### sec.106G Period of declaration
The declaration takes effect on the day the declaration notice is given under section 106E (a) .
Subsection (3) applies if—
the declaration notice states that an application that is not substantially different from the relevant application must be made to the chief executive within the application period; and
the applicant does not comply with the requirement.
The declaration stops having effect at the end of the application period.
If subsection (3) does not apply, the declaration stops having effect when—
the chief executive gives a decision notice for the application or a part of the application under division 3 ; or
the application lapses or is withdrawn.
