### sec.998 Existing approvals This section applies if— before the commencement, a person or body approved a gas device or gas fitting under former section 733(1)(a)(ii); and immediately before the commencement, the approval had not been cancelled or suspended. The approval is taken to have been given by the holder of a gas device approval authority. s 998 ins 2019 No. 7 s 294 (sec.998-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, a person or body approved a gas device or gas fitting under former section 733(1)(a)(ii); and immediately before the commencement, the approval had not been cancelled or suspended.
