### sec.986 Existing application for survey licence This section applies to an application for a survey licence under section 395 if, immediately before the commencement of this section, the application had not been decided. If, under section 396, the Minister decides to grant the survey licence, the Minister may decide the term of the licence ends at a time stated in the licence that is no later than 2 years after the licence takes effect. This section applies despite section 396(4) of the pre-amended Act. In this section— pre-amended Act means this Act as in force immediately before the commencement of this section. s 986 ins 2014 No. 47 s 641 (sec.986-ssec.1) This section applies to an application for a survey licence under section 395 if, immediately before the commencement of this section, the application had not been decided.
