### sec.932 Application of s 6 to particular existing mining tenements
This section applies to a mining tenement in force immediately before the commencement, other than a coal or oil shale mining tenement.
Section 6 applies to the mining tenement as if it had been granted after the commencement.
However, for a mining tenement other than a mining lease, section 6(3) and (6) does not apply for the carrying out of an authorised activity for a petroleum authority in the area of the tenement until 3 months after the commencement.
The Mineral Resources Act, section 403, does not apply for the carrying out of the authorised activity until 3 months after the commencement.
In this section—
commencement means the day section 6 commences.

(sec.932-ssec.1) This section applies to a mining tenement in force immediately before the commencement, other than a coal or oil shale mining tenement.
