### sec.922 Accrued compensation rights relating to converted petroleum authority
This section applies if—
a right, under the former 1923 Act compensation provisions, to compensation existed immediately before 31 December 2004; and
the right relates to a converted petroleum authority.
The right continues after 31 December 2004.
The compensation must be decided under the former 1923 Act compensation provisions as if the provisions had not been repealed.
A matter relating to the compensation that, before 31 December 2004, had been referred to the Land and Resources Tribunal but not decided must be decided under the former 1923 Act compensation provisions.
In this section—
former 1923 Act compensation provisions means sections 18(5) and 97 to 99 of the 1923 Act, as they were in force immediately before 31 December 2004.
