### sec.870 Gas examiners’ powers under repealed Act, s 8(1)(e) This section applies if, before the commencement— a gas examiner had seized and removed a substance under the repealed Act, section 8(1)(e); and the substance has not been dealt with under that Act. The repealed Act, section 8(1)(e), continues to apply for the substance. For subsection (1)(a), an inspector under this Act is taken to be a gas examiner. (sec.870-ssec.1) This section applies if, before the commencement— a gas examiner had seized and removed a substance under the repealed Act, section 8(1)(e); and the substance has not been dealt with under that Act. (sec.870-ssec.2) The repealed Act, section 8(1)(e), continues to apply for the substance. (sec.870-ssec.3) For subsection (1)(a), an inspector under this Act is taken to be a gas examiner. - (a) a gas examiner had seized and removed a substance under the repealed Act, section 8(1)(e); and - (b) the substance has not been dealt with under that Act.
