### sec.868 Gas examiners
This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement, is, under the repealed Act, section 7—
the chief gas examiner; or
the deputy chief gas examiner; or
a gas examiner.
On the commencement, the person holds the appointment of—
if the person was the chief gas examiner—the chief inspector; or
if the person was the deputy chief gas examiner—the deputy chief inspector; or
if the person was a gas examiner—an inspector.

(sec.868-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement, is, under the repealed Act, section 7— the chief gas examiner; or the deputy chief gas examiner; or a gas examiner.
(sec.868-ssec.2) On the commencement, the person holds the appointment of— if the person was the chief gas examiner—the chief inspector; or if the person was the deputy chief gas examiner—the deputy chief inspector; or if the person was a gas examiner—an inspector.

- (b) the deputy chief gas examiner; or
- (c) a gas examiner.
