### sec.839A Court may order suspension or cancellation of authority
This section applies if a person convicted of an offence against this Act is the holder of any of the following authorities—
a gas work licence;
a gas work authorisation;
a gas device approval authority.
A Magistrates Court, on application by the complainant during the proceeding for the offence, may suspend or cancel the authority held by the person convicted.
A person dissatisfied with the Magistrates Court’s decision to suspend or cancel the person’s authority who wants to appeal against the decision, must appeal to the District Court.
The Magistrates Court must give notice of the decision to suspend or cancel the person’s authority to the chief inspector.

(sec.839A-ssec.1) This section applies if a person convicted of an offence against this Act is the holder of any of the following authorities— a gas work licence; a gas work authorisation; a gas device approval authority.
(sec.839A-ssec.2) A Magistrates Court, on application by the complainant during the proceeding for the offence, may suspend or cancel the authority held by the person convicted.
(sec.839A-ssec.3) A person dissatisfied with the Magistrates Court’s decision to suspend or cancel the person’s authority who wants to appeal against the decision, must appeal to the District Court.
