### sec.817 Who may apply for internal review
A person who has been given, or is entitled to be given, an information notice about a decision under this Act mentioned in schedule 1 , table 1 (an original decision ) may apply for an internal review of the decision (an internal review application ).
An internal review application may be made only to—
if the original decision to which the application relates was made by the chief executive—the Minister; or
if the original decision to which the application relates was made by an inspector, other than the chief inspector, or an authorised officer (safety and health)—the chief inspector; or
if the original decision to which the application relates was made by the CEO or the chief inspector—the CEO; or
otherwise—the chief executive.
The person to whom the internal review application may be made is the reviewer .

(sec.817-ssec.3) The person to whom the internal review application may be made is the reviewer .
- (a) if the original decision to which the application relates was made by the chief executive—the Minister; or
- (b) if the original decision to which the application relates was made by an inspector, other than the chief inspector, or an authorised officer (safety and health)—the chief inspector; or
- (c) if the original decision to which the application relates was made by the CEO or the chief inspector—the CEO; or
- (d) otherwise—the chief executive.
