### sec.799F Notice of entry
An authorised person who enters land under this part must give the owner and occupier of the land written notice about the entry—
if the land is entered to carry out remediation activities necessary to preserve life or property—within 10 business days after entering the land; or
otherwise, if the land is an abandoned site—
at least 10 business before entering the land; or
a shorter period agreed by the owner and occupier.
The written notice must state the following—
when the entry was made or is to be made;
the purpose of the entry;
if the notice relates to land other than affected land—that the authorised person is permitted under this Act to enter the land without consent or a warrant;
the remediation activities carried out or proposed to be carried out.

- (a) if the land is entered to carry out remediation activities necessary to preserve life or property—within 10 business days after entering the land; or
