### sec.761 Power to require attendance of persons before inspector or authorised officer to answer questions
An inspector or authorised officer may require a person to attend before the inspector or authorised officer and to answer questions—
relevant to the discharge of the person’s safety and health obligations under this Act; or
on safety and health matters relevant to activities involving petroleum or fuel gas; or
to ascertain whether this Act is being complied with; or
relevant to any action carried out by the inspector or authorised officer under this Act.
A requirement made of a person under this section to attend before an inspector or authorised officer must—
be made by notice given to the person; and
state a reasonable time and place for the person’s attendance.
When making a requirement under this section, the inspector or authorised officer must warn the person it is an offence to fail to comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse.

(sec.761-ssec.1) An inspector or authorised officer may require a person to attend before the inspector or authorised officer and to answer questions— relevant to the discharge of the person’s safety and health obligations under this Act; or on safety and health matters relevant to activities involving petroleum or fuel gas; or to ascertain whether this Act is being complied with; or relevant to any action carried out by the inspector or authorised officer under this Act.
