### sec.635 What is the tolerance for error for a meter
The tolerance for error , for a meter, is its tolerance for error in accuracy—
as prescribed under a regulation; or
if the tolerance is not prescribed under a regulation, as provided for under—
the measurement scheme for the meter; or
an Australian standard or similar standard that the measurement scheme for the meter requires the meter to comply with.
- (a) as prescribed under a regulation; or
- (b) if the tolerance is not prescribed under a regulation, as provided for under— (i) the measurement scheme for the meter; or (ii) an Australian standard or similar standard that the measurement scheme for the meter requires the meter to comply with.
- (i) the measurement scheme for the meter; or
- (ii) an Australian standard or similar standard that the measurement scheme for the meter requires the meter to comply with.
- (i) the measurement scheme for the meter; or
- (ii) an Australian standard or similar standard that the measurement scheme for the meter requires the meter to comply with.
