### sec.621 Restrictions on supplying gas not of prescribed quality
This section applies if a person (the supplier ) proposes to supply fuel gas to someone else (the recipient ) if—
the gas is not of the prescribed quality; and
a gas quality approval for the gas is not in force.
The supplier must not supply the fuel gas to the recipient, unless—
the recipient has agreed in writing to the supply; and
the agreement—
states that the gas is not of the prescribed quality; and
describes the quality of the gas; and
the chief inspector has received the agreement, or a copy of it.
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.

If a corporation commits an offence against this provision, an executive officer of the corporation may be taken, under section 814A , to have also committed the offence.
An agreement that complies with subsection (2) (a) to (c) is a gas quality agreement .
