### sec.60 Applying for approval to amend
An authority to prospect holder may apply for approval to amend the work program for the authority.
For other relevant provisions about applications, see chapter 14 , part 1 and section 851AA .
However, the application can not be made less than 20 business days before the end of the period stated in the work program for carrying out work under the program.
Subsection (2) does not apply if the Minister is satisfied the work program needs to be amended for a reason beyond the holder’s control.
The application must be accompanied by the fee prescribed under a regulation.
