### sec.462 Disposal of land taken by State
The State may transfer land taken under section 456 to anyone else, including, for example, the holder or proposed holder of a licence for the land.
The Acquisition of Land Act 1967 , section 41 , applies to land taken under section 456 .
However, subsection (2) only applies if the State has not offered, or proposed to offer, the land for sale to any holder, or proposed holder, of a licence the area of which includes the land.
