### sec.390 Application of pt 8
This part applies if a tenure holder or a person who has applied for a tenure (the information-giver ) gives another tenure holder or a person who has applied for a tenure (the recipient ) information—
that this chapter requires the information-giver to give the recipient, including, for example, information given to comply with section 313 (a) ; or
for the purposes of this chapter.
However, this part applies subject to any agreement between the information-giver and the recipient about the information or its use.
In this section—
information means information given verbally or in writing.
tenure means a petroleum tenure or a coal or oil shale mining tenement.
(sec.390-ssec.1) This part applies if a tenure holder or a person who has applied for a tenure (the information-giver ) gives another tenure holder or a person who has applied for a tenure (the recipient ) information— that this chapter requires the information-giver to give the recipient, including, for example, information given to comply with section 313 (a) ; or for the purposes of this chapter.
