### sec.325 Mining lease application for part of the land This section applies if the coal or oil shale exploration tenement holder applies for a mining lease for part of the land within the mining lease application period. The person who made the ATP-related application may amend it so that a petroleum lease is only sought for all or part of the rest of the land. Unless the amendment is made, a further step can not be taken to decide the ATP-related application until after the mining lease application has been decided. If— the amendment has not been made; and the decision on the mining lease application is to grant a mining lease for part of the land; the person who made the ATP-related application may amend it so that a petroleum lease is only sought for all or part of the rest of the land.
