### sec.291 Notice of transfer to Water Act regulator or Mineral Resources Act chief executive If a transfer is made under section 288 , the chief executive must give the Water Act regulator notice of the transfer. If a transfer is made under section 289 , the chief executive must give the chief executive that administers the Mineral Resources Act notice of the transfer. A failure to comply with subsection (1) or (2) does not invalidate or otherwise affect the transfer. (sec.291-ssec.1) If a transfer is made under section 288 , the chief executive must give the Water Act regulator notice of the transfer. (sec.291-ssec.2) If a transfer is made under section 289 , the chief executive must give the chief executive that administers the Mineral Resources Act notice of the transfer. (sec.291-ssec.3) A failure to comply with subsection (1) or (2) does not invalidate or otherwise affect the transfer.
