### sec.289 Transfer of petroleum well to holder of geothermal tenure or mining tenement A petroleum tenure holder may transfer a petroleum well in the petroleum tenure’s area to the holder of a geothermal tenure or mining tenement if— the well is in the geothermal tenure’s or mining tenement’s area; and a notice in the approved form and the transfer fee prescribed under a regulation have been lodged. s 289 amd 2004 No. 26 s 69 (2) sch sub 2010 No. 31 s 548 amd 2012 No. 20 s 281 sch 2 - (a) the well is in the geothermal tenure’s or mining tenement’s area; and - (b) a notice in the approved form and the transfer fee prescribed under a regulation have been lodged.
