### sec.113 Application of sdiv 2 This subdivision applies if a natural underground reservoir in the area of a petroleum lease extends to— the area of an adjacent petroleum lease or coal or oil shale mining lease (an adjacent lease ); or if a person has applied for a petroleum lease, coal mining lease or oil shale mining lease that will, if granted, be an adjacent lease—the area of the proposed lease. See also section 52A (Application of 2004 Act provisions about coextensive natural underground reservoirs) of the 1923 Act . s 113 amd 2004 No. 26 s 96 ; 2005 No. 3 s 105 sch ; 2011 No. 2 ss 121 , 122 sch - (a) the area of an adjacent petroleum lease or coal or oil shale mining lease (an adjacent lease ); or - (b) if a person has applied for a petroleum lease, coal mining lease or oil shale mining lease that will, if granted, be an adjacent lease—the area of the proposed lease.
