### sec.80R Recovery of costs of and compensation for exercise of remedial power The State may recover from the responsible person as a debt any— reasonable costs the State, or an authorised person under section 80L , incurs in exercising a remedial power; and compensation payable by the State under section 80P in relation to the exercise of the remedial power. For additional orders that may be made on conviction, see section 118 . However, in any proceeding to recover the costs, any relevant net proceeds of sale mentioned in section 80Q must be deducted from the amount claimed for the costs.
