### sec.100 Union of leases
Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Minister may approve of the union of 2 leases, whether the areas embraced in such leases are contiguous or are not contiguous, subject to the following conditions—
an application for such union shall be made to the Minister by means of a resolution passed by a majority in number and value (calculated in each case as prescribed) of the persons registered for the time being as holders of the leases concerned;
subject to this section or as may be prescribed, all the provisions of this Act governing leases and matters and things concerning same shall apply and extend to any such union of leases, as the case may be.
Regulations may be made to give full effect to the objects and provisions of this section.
