### sec.4A Meaning of authorised corrective services officer
An authorised corrective services officer means a person who—
is—
a corrective services officer under the Corrective Services Act 2006 ; or
an employee of a person or body engaged under that Act, section 272 ; and
is authorised by the chief executive (corrective services) for the relevant purpose.
In this section—
chief executive (corrective services) does not include an engaged service provider under the Corrective Services Act 2006 .

(sec.4A-ssec.1) An authorised corrective services officer means a person who— is— a corrective services officer under the Corrective Services Act 2006 ; or an employee of a person or body engaged under that Act, section 272 ; and is authorised by the chief executive (corrective services) for the relevant purpose.
(sec.4A-ssec.2) In this section— chief executive (corrective services) does not include an engaged service provider under the Corrective Services Act 2006 .
- (a) is— (i) a corrective services officer under the Corrective Services Act 2006 ; or (ii) an employee of a person or body engaged under that Act, section 272 ; and
- (i) a corrective services officer under the Corrective Services Act 2006 ; or
- (ii) an employee of a person or body engaged under that Act, section 272 ; and
- (b) is authorised by the chief executive (corrective services) for the relevant purpose.
- (i) a corrective services officer under the Corrective Services Act 2006 ; or
- (ii) an employee of a person or body engaged under that Act, section 272 ; and
