### sec.224 Retrospective application of s 179C in particular circumstances
Section 179C applies in relation to an offence for which the offender is sentenced after the commencement, even if the offence was committed, or the offender was charged with or convicted of the offence, before the commencement.
In this section—
commencement means the commencement of section 179C.
sentenced does not include resentenced as defined under section 179D.

(sec.224-ssec.1) Section 179C applies in relation to an offence for which the offender is sentenced after the commencement, even if the offence was committed, or the offender was charged with or convicted of the offence, before the commencement.
(sec.224-ssec.2) In this section— commencement means the commencement of section 179C. sentenced does not include resentenced as defined under section 179D.
