### sec.216 Transitional provision for Criminal Code and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008
The definition offence of a sexual nature in section 15E(4) applies as if the reference to the Criminal Code, section 208 included a reference to the Criminal Code, section 209 as in force at any time before its repeal by the Criminal Code and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008 .
The Criminal Code items in the schedule apply as if the reference in the item mentioned in column 1 to the provision of the Criminal Code mentioned in column 2 included a reference to the provision of the Criminal Code mentioned in column 3 as in force at any time before the commencement of this section.
