### sec.208 Transitional provisions for Criminal Law Amendment Act 2000
The definition of violent offence in section 162 applies as if the reference in the definition to the provision of the Criminal Code mentioned in column 1 included a reference to the provision of the Criminal Code mentioned in column 2 as in force at any time before the commencement of this section.
