### sec.206 Transitional provisions for Penalties and Sentences (Serious Violent Offences) Amendment Act 1997 Section 157(7)(b) applies to a recommendation made under section 157 even if the recommendation was made before the commencement of section 157(7). For subsection 161C(2)(b), sentences of imprisonment imposed on the offender for offences mentioned in section 161C(1)(c) or (d) must be taken into account even if the sentences were imposed before the commencement of part 9A. s 206 ins 1997 No. 4 s 16 (sec.206-ssec.1) Section 157(7)(b) applies to a recommendation made under section 157 even if the recommendation was made before the commencement of section 157(7). (sec.206-ssec.2) For subsection 161C(2)(b), sentences of imprisonment imposed on the offender for offences mentioned in section 161C(1)(c) or (d) must be taken into account even if the sentences were imposed before the commencement of part 9A.
