### sec.170 Standard of proof
A court may make a finding that an offender is a serious danger to the community only if it is satisfied—
by acceptable, cogent evidence; and
to a high degree of probability;
that the evidence is of sufficient weight to justify the finding.
- (a) by acceptable, cogent evidence; and
- (b) to a high degree of probability;
