### sec.83 Meetings
This section applies to a meeting of the committee.
The Speaker is responsible for calling the meeting and setting the agenda.
A quorum is—
if the committee includes a cross bench member under section 81 (2) —5 members; or
otherwise—4 members.
A question is decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting.
Each member present has a vote on each question to be decided and, if the votes are equal, the Speaker has a casting vote.
