### sec.22 End of certificates, notification and Speaker’s declaration on last day of session—renewal
The certificates, notification and Speaker’s declaration under this part are ineffective beyond the last day of the session of the Assembly in which the certificates, notification and declaration were received or made.
However, if the ill health of the absent member and the absent member’s inability to attend any sittings of the Assembly continue or are likely to continue beyond the period stated in the certificates, or beyond the last day of the session of the Assembly in which the certificates were received, the certificates, notification, and declaration may be renewed whenever necessary.
(sec.22-ssec.1) The certificates, notification and Speaker’s declaration under this part are ineffective beyond the last day of the session of the Assembly in which the certificates, notification and declaration were received or made.
(sec.22-ssec.2) However, if the ill health of the absent member and the absent member’s inability to attend any sittings of the Assembly continue or are likely to continue beyond the period stated in the certificates, or beyond the last day of the session of the Assembly in which the certificates were received, the certificates, notification, and declaration may be renewed whenever necessary.
