### sec.158 Continuation of existing law relating to previous contempt
This section applies to an act done or omission made before the commencement of this section that constituted contempt of the Assembly.
The contempt is to be dealt with as if this Act and the Constitution of Queensland 2001 had not been passed.
Without limiting subsection (2), the Constitution Act 1867 , sections 45 to 52 as they existed immediately before those sections were omitted by the Constitution of Queensland 2001 continue to apply, despite being omitted, to the act or omission.
(sec.158-ssec.1) This section applies to an act done or omission made before the commencement of this section that constituted contempt of the Assembly.
