### sec.74 Management principles of international wildlife International wildlife is to be managed in accordance with the wildlife’s international conservation significance and, in particular— to ensure the protection of protected wildlife from any threatening process that may be posed by the wildlife; and to prevent unlawful introduction of the wildlife into the State; and to prohibit the release of the wildlife into the wild except under a licence, permit or other authority issued or given under a regulation. s 74 amd 2004 No. 48 s 169 ; 2011 No. 6 s 142 sch ; 2011 No. 26 s 189 sch (amdt could not be given effect) - (a) to ensure the protection of protected wildlife from any threatening process that may be posed by the wildlife; and - (b) to prevent unlawful introduction of the wildlife into the State; and - (c) to prohibit the release of the wildlife into the wild except under a licence, permit or other authority issued or given under a regulation.
