### sec.42AK Revocation of dedication of protected area or declaration of Indigenous joint management areas
A regulation may—
revoke the dedication of a protected area, or part of a protected area, that is an Indigenous joint management area; or
revoke the declaration of all or a part of an Indigenous joint management area;
only if the land the subject of the revocation has been surrendered to the State.
A regulation under subsection (1) (a) may be made only if the Legislative Assembly has, on a motion of which at least 28 days notice has been given, passed a resolution requesting the Governor in Council to make the revocation.

(sec.42AK-ssec.1) A regulation may— revoke the dedication of a protected area, or part of a protected area, that is an Indigenous joint management area; or revoke the declaration of all or a part of an Indigenous joint management area; only if the land the subject of the revocation has been surrendered to the State.
