### sec.169 Additional penalty—conservation value of protected wildlife
A person who is convicted of an offence of taking—
a natural resource that is protected wildlife in contravention of section 62 ; or
protected wildlife in contravention of section 88 or 89 ;
is liable to an additional penalty of not more than twice the conservation value of the protected wildlife in relation to which the offence is committed.
