### sec.100A Main purpose of div 8 and its achievement The main purpose of this division is to facilitate the conservation of native wildlife in the wild through captive breeding programs and the introduction of captive-bred wildlife into the wild. The purpose is achieved by— providing for agreements between the State and other entities about captive breeding; and authorising the taking of protected wildlife in the wild for use in captive breeding programs. s 100A ins 2004 No. 48 s 176 amd 2011 No. 6 s 142 sch ; 2011 No. 26 s 189 sch (amdt could not be given effect) (sec.100A-ssec.1) The main purpose of this division is to facilitate the conservation of native wildlife in the wild through captive breeding programs and the introduction of captive-bred wildlife into the wild.
