### sec.97 Contract must contain statement of guarantee of clear title
A contract for the sale of a used motor vehicle by a selling agent must state that the responsible licensee guarantees that the buyer will have clear title to the vehicle when property in the vehicle passes to the buyer.
If the contract does not comply with subsection (1) , the buyer by written notice given to the selling agent may avoid the contract.
The notice must be given to the selling agent within 7 days after the day property in the vehicle passes to the buyer.
(sec.97-ssec.1) A contract for the sale of a used motor vehicle by a selling agent must state that the responsible licensee guarantees that the buyer will have clear title to the vehicle when property in the vehicle passes to the buyer.
(sec.97-ssec.2) If the contract does not comply with subsection (1) , the buyer by written notice given to the selling agent may avoid the contract.
(sec.97-ssec.3) The notice must be given to the selling agent within 7 days after the day property in the vehicle passes to the buyer.
