### sec.37 Licence—public trustee
The chief executive may issue a licence to the public trustee in the public trustee’s capacity as a corporation sole in the name ‘The Public Trustee of Queensland’.
A licence issued to the public trustee authorises an officer or employee of the public trustee to perform any activity authorised by the public trustee that the public trustee may perform under the licence.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that an officer or employee performing an activity authorised by the public trustee is not required to be licensed or registered under this Act to perform the activity.
(sec.37-ssec.1) The chief executive may issue a licence to the public trustee in the public trustee’s capacity as a corporation sole in the name ‘The Public Trustee of Queensland’.
