### sec.20 Requirement to give information or material about application or request
This section applies to any of the following—
an applicant for a licence;
an applicant for renewal of a licence;
an applicant for restoration of a licence;
an applicant for the appointment or extension of the appointment of a nominated person mentioned in section 51 (3) or 52 (4) as the applicant’s substitute licensee;
a licensee who has asked the chief executive to reactivate the licensee’s licence.
The chief executive may, by written notice given to the applicant or licensee, require the applicant or licensee to give the chief executive within a stated reasonable period information or material the chief executive reasonably considers is needed to consider the application or request.

The applicant or licensee is taken to have withdrawn the application or request if, within the stated reasonable period, the applicant or licensee fails to comply with the chief executive’s requirement.
