### sec.17 Application for licence
An applicant for a licence must—
apply to the chief executive in the approved form; and
state the category of licence being applied for; and
state the term of the licence being applied for; and
establish the applicant’s eligibility for the category of licence being applied for; and
state the names and addresses of the applicant’s business associates; and
provide any information the chief executive reasonably requires to decide whether the applicant is a suitable person to hold a licence.
The application must be accompanied by—
the application fee prescribed under a regulation; and
the licence issue fee prescribed under a regulation; and
if, before or when the application is made, a criminal history costs requirement is made of the applicant—the amount of the costs required to be paid.
