### sec.153 Steps involved in obtaining registration
A person who wishes to obtain registration as a motor salesperson must be a suitable person to hold registration under division 5 .
The person must apply for registration by—
giving the chief executive an application showing, among other things, the person is eligible to obtain registration; and
paying the prescribed fees.
In deciding the application, the chief executive must have regard, among other things, to—
the person’s suitability to hold a registration certificate; and
the person’s eligibility to hold the registration certificate.
(sec.153-ssec.1) A person who wishes to obtain registration as a motor salesperson must be a suitable person to hold registration under division 5 .
(sec.153-ssec.2) The person must apply for registration by— giving the chief executive an application showing, among other things, the person is eligible to obtain registration; and paying the prescribed fees.
(sec.153-ssec.3) In deciding the application, the chief executive must have regard, among other things, to— the person’s suitability to hold a registration certificate; and the person’s eligibility to hold the registration certificate.
