### sec.29 Nominal Defendant Fund
There is to be a fund called the Nominal Defendant Fund.
The following amounts are to be paid into the fund—
the amounts to be paid by the Treasurer to the credit of the fund under section 106 ;
the income derived from the Nominal Defendant levy;
the amounts paid to, or recovered by, the Nominal Defendant under this Act;
amounts advanced to the fund under this section;
income derived from investment of the fund.
The following amounts are to be paid from the fund—
the costs of carrying out the functions of the Nominal Defendant under the statutory insurance scheme;
amounts required to satisfy liabilities of the Nominal Defendant for claims;
payments relating to an advance of amounts under subsection (4) , that are payable under the terms of the advance.
The Treasurer may advance amounts to the fund on the terms the Treasurer considers appropriate.
