### sec.56 Review of safety and health management system
This section applies if—
a safety and health management system has been developed for a new mine; or
it is proposed to change a safety and health management system at an existing mine.
The site senior executive must review the system in consultation with—
workers, to the extent they are affected by the system; or
appropriate site safety and health representatives and committees.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
The review under subsection (2) must take place—
for a new mine—as soon as practicable after the start of operations; or
for a change at an existing mine—before the change is effected.
(sec.56-ssec.1) This section applies if— a safety and health management system has been developed for a new mine; or it is proposed to change a safety and health management system at an existing mine.
