### sec.51 Appointment of supervisors The site senior executive for a mine must not appoint a person to be a supervisor at the mine unless the person— is competent to be a supervisor; and if there is a safety and health competency for supervisors recognised by the committee—has the relevant competency. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. s 51 amd 2010 No. 17 s 60 sch sub 2024 No. 34 s 167 - (a) is competent to be a supervisor; and - (b) if there is a safety and health competency for supervisors recognised by the committee—has the relevant competency.
