### sec.51 Appointment of supervisors
The site senior executive for a mine must not appoint a person to be a supervisor at the mine unless the person—
is competent to be a supervisor; and
if there is a safety and health competency for supervisors recognised by the committee—has the relevant competency.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
