### sec.219 Stay of operation of decision An Industrial Magistrates Court may stay a decision appealed against to secure the effectiveness of the appeal. A stay— may be given on conditions the court considers appropriate; and has effect for the period stated by the court; and may be revoked or amended by the court. The period of a stay given by the court must not extend past the time when the court decides the appeal. An appeal against a decision does not affect the operation or carrying out of the decision unless the decision is stayed.
