### sec.147 Access to things that have been seized
Until a thing that has been seized is forfeited or returned, an officer must allow its owner to inspect it and, if it is a document, to copy it.
Subsection (1) does not apply if it is impracticable or would be unreasonable to allow the inspection or copying.
For this section, if an officer has required a person to take a thing to a stated place by a stated reasonable time under section 143 the officer may require the person to return the thing to the place from which it was taken.
The person must return the thing at the person’s expense.
