### sec.829 Certificates of applications for a mining lease given before commencement This section applies if, before the commencement, an applicant for the grant of a mining lease is given a certificate of application for a mining lease under the pre-amended Act, section 252, as in force from time to time before the commencement. The pre-amended Act, as in force immediately before the commencement, continues to apply to the certificate of application as if the Common Provisions Act, chapter 9, part 7, division 9 had not been enacted. In this section— commencement means the commencement of this section. pre-amended Act means this Act as in force before the commencement. s 829 ins 2014 No. 47 s 463 (sec.829-ssec.1) This section applies if, before the commencement, an applicant for the grant of a mining lease is given a certificate of application for a mining lease under the pre-amended Act, section 252, as in force from time to time before the commencement.
